Dong'ao Fishing Port Introduction
Dong'ao Fishing Port is located in Wanli District, New Taipei City, within a bay at the root of the eastern side of the Yehliu Peninsula. The port was established in the year 1973, and by 1979, it had a docking area of only 0.24 hectares. It is situated just a few hundred meters away from Yehliu Fishing Port, with a prominent mountain cape and rock reefs extending into the sea to the east. As a small fishing port, most residents rely on fishing for their livelihood, with fishing grounds located in the waters east of the Yehliu Peninsula. Due to its proximity to the Northern Coastal Highway, transportation is quite convenient, attracting many tourists on weekends to enjoy the coastal scenery and savor delicious seafood.
