Songhe Tribe Introduction
Songhe Community, located along the Dajia River, belongs to a river terrace formation. Currently, the village is home to a diverse population including indigenous peoples, Holo, Hakka, and people from other provinces. On Linchang Alley in the Songhe Community, there is a row of cypress wood houses (staff dormitories of the Forestry Bureau), which are remnants of the "Baxianshan" Forest Farm, one of Taiwan's three major forest farms, and they serve as the best-preserved testimony of history.
