Guguan Scenic Area Introduction
The hot springs are the most precious natural resource of the Guguan Scenic Area. The Guguan Hot Springs originated during the Meiji era in Japan and were formerly known as "Meiji Hot Springs." The spring water is clear and free of sulfur odor, making it very popular among tourists. Currently, there are various hot spring pools with different styles, including health spas, Japanese gardens, and those by the Songlin Stream, making it a famous hot spring destination along the Central Cross-Island Highway.
