Shih Tou Temple (Tian Liao Ci Hsuan Sheng Tian Gong) Introduction
Situated in the rugged terrain of Tianliao, the Ci Hsuan Sheng Tian Temple helped hundreds of Thai workers who lost their jobs due to a contractor's bankruptcy in 1994. In gratitude for the temple's charity, the Thai workers voluntarily assisted in building the rear hall of the temple. It is said that there were no design plans during construction; following the Buddha's guidance, stones, corals, and shells were used to create an unparalleled underwater dragon palace, earning it the nickname "Stone Temple." It has also been praised with the words "Taiwanese people show genuine feelings, Thai workers express gratitude by building a remarkable temple." Its unique architectural style has made it a popular pilgrimage site in the internet age.
