Dakeng Golf Club Introduction
Dagangshan Golf Course, located in Tienliao District, Kaohsiung City, is away from the hustle and bustle, offering a pleasant landscape, yet it is only a few dozen kilometers from the metropolitan areas of Tainan and Kaohsiung. The course occupies 160 hectares, with 101.6 hectares developed into 18 holes, complemented by gardens and various dining services. The course was designed by the renowned Japanese designer Kunihiro Ito. As you enter the access road to the course, you are greeted by the straight rows of Australian pines lining both sides, with trees reaching toward the sky. The beautiful landscape within the course features 18 holes designed to follow the contours of the valleys and ridges, with gentle slopes and water hazards and sand traps adding variability and fun to the game. Due to the abundance of large trees, it is also known as a forest course. To accommodate players who are concerned about tanning, night lighting has been specially installed for all 18 holes, making Dagangshan Golf Course the only nighttime course in southern Taiwan, allowing golfers to enjoy a different kind of pleasure in the cool summer evenings.
