Nantou: Yu Shan Cha Tea Culture Museum Introduction

The evaluation valid period: 2024/08/14~2027/08/13; Excellent valid period: 2010/11/17~2013/11/16. Chia Chen Tea Co., Ltd. is located in the industrial zone of Zhushan Township, Nantou County. Established the "Tea Trip" brand in 2002, the company has been engaged in tea cultivation and production in Fenghuang Village, Lugu Township, Nantou County since 1961, and is now a third-generation tea-making family. From the early days of traditional production and manufacturing in tea factories, after 50 years of hard work, Chia Chen Tea has passed the ISO 22000 international certification as a tea factory and is also a tourist factory. It has built Taiwan's only tea culture museum, providing a great place for tea lovers and those who appreciate daily aesthetics to visit. A trip to Tea Trip allows one to understand the culture and connotations of tea throughout its production, manufacturing, and packaging processes. In ancient times, it was often said that grains, oil, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, and tea were essentials in life; “tea” has always been a necessity in people’s lives. However, in the early agricultural era, drinking tea was primarily for quenching thirst. With the passage of time, societal progress, and changes in people’s lives, the practice of drinking tea has evolved from merely quenching thirst to an enjoyable experience in daily life, integrating tea into an artful lifestyle. Tea Trip has constructed an internationally standard tea manufacturing factory, where the processes of tea making, processing, and packaging are entirely transparent, allowing consumers to see and get closer to tea, understand it, and love drinking it, thus enhancing the quality of life. It also aims to raise the international profile of Taiwanese tea and provides a tranquil space for tea lovers to share knowledge about tea.
