Originating from the simplicity of Xianxi, it stems from the persistence of "Xingmai Egg Roll." Located in the coastal rural area of Changhua—Xianxi Township, Xingmai Egg Roll Baking Kingdom began in 2004 with the Sanxia horn-shaped pastries and once had over 30 specialty stores in Taiwan. During its development, the founder, driven by a passion for baking, began to innovate with other products and actively transformed the business. In 2017, in response to personal food safety standards and a desire to give back to his hometown, the first egg roll tourist factory in Taiwan was established—the "Xingmai Egg Roll Baking Kingdom Tourist Factory." In the development of egg rolls, the owner considers the rising health consciousness among Taiwanese consumers, who are increasingly focused on "healthy eating" and a nutritious lifestyle. The egg rolls are made using pure natural butter and adhere to five key principles, which they generously share with visitors: 1. Different from using convenient and fast egg powder, we insist on using locally selected fresh eggs. 2. To highlight the fresh and natural taste of the ingredients, no water is added during the production process. 3. We use 99% natural butter to replace artificial flavorings with the natural aroma of the ingredients. 4. Local sugar is selected instead of higher-sweetness artificial synthetic sugar. 5. To ensure the crisp texture of the egg rolls, the entire production process is conducted in an air-conditioned facility. Although using natural butter significantly shortens the shelf life and the cost is more than six times that of regular vegetable oil, it enhances customers' memory of the Xingmai brand. In 2019, the Xingmai Egg Roll Baking Kingdom developed "Peanut Butter Egg Rolls" and various flavored stuffed egg rolls, inspired by the creativity of filled egg rolls. Made with local farm-fresh eggs and rich peanut butter, combined with crisp and layered egg rolls, it not only won the Excellence Award in Changhua’s Top 100 Souvenirs but also became a star product for Xingmai and a popular item for online shopping. They even became the largest peanut butter egg roll manufacturer in Taiwan, with a daily output exceeding 60,000 pieces. Each bite is filled with rich, smooth filling that is not greasy, providing a delightful experience with every bite.
