Tayal Tribe Village Introduction
Taiwan's Tabalan Tribe, located in Guangfu Township, means "crab" in the Amis language, and throughout the tribe, one can see vibrant wooden carvings of crab totems. This place not only preserves traditional Amis housing, tribal weapons, and wine vessels, but is also the only area in Taiwan that produces red glutinous rice. This precious traditional food of the tribe has led to the establishment of the Red Glutinous Rice Cultural Museum and the hosting of the Red Glutinous Rice Cultural Festival, allowing travelers to experience the lively festivities and taste the tribal cuisine.
