Tefuye Trail (Giant Camphor Tree Cluster) Introduction
When it comes to Tefuye, most people naturally think of the Tefuye Ancient Trail, but the Tefuye Trail and the Tefuye Ancient Trail are two different paths. In comparison, the Tefuye Trail is much easier to walk. This trail starts from the Dabang Suspension Bridge, loops around the Tefuye Tribe, and forms an O-shape connecting the Tefuye and Dabang settlements. From the pavilion at the trailhead, one can overlook the Iskianna Valley. Entering from the colorful Dabang Suspension Bridge and connecting to the trail, most of it consists of steep wooden plank paths, but the changes in elevation are not significant, making it a smooth and easy walk, all shaded by trees to avoid excessive sun exposure. At the high point where the view opens up, the nearby Dabang Tribe and distant lush mountains come into sight, with bamboo groves and giant camphor trees scattered along the way, creating a beautiful forest landscape rich in ecology. Deeper into the bamboo forest, there are several thatched pavilions in the style of the Tsou tribe for travelers to rest. Some sections (the camphor tree section) and the Dabang Suspension Bridge are closed, and the closure is expected to last until March 31, 2026. For safety reasons, please do not enter the closed sections.
