Te Fu Ye Trail (Giant Camphor Trees Group) Introduction
Some sections (Zhangshu section) of the Dabang Suspension Bridge are closed for safety reasons. Please do not enter the closed areas. When mentioning Tehuan, most people naturally think of the Tehuan Old Trail, but the Tehuan Trail and the Tehuan Old Trail are two different paths. In comparison, the Tehuan Trail is easier to walk. This trail begins at the Dabang Suspension Bridge and winds around the Tehuan village, forming an O-shape that connects the Tehuan and Dabang settlements. From the gazebo at the trailhead, you can overlook the Iskian River Valley. Walking in from the colorful Dabang Suspension Bridge, most of the trail consists of a steep wooden boardwalk, but the elevation changes are not significant, making it smooth and easy to walk on, with sufficient shade to avoid excessive exposure. At the highpoints with open views, the nearby Dabang village and distant green mountains come into sight, while bamboo forests and giant camphor trees are scattered along the way, creating a beautiful landscape with rich ecology. Deep in the bamboo forest, there are several Tsou-style thatched gazebos for travelers to rest.
