Te Fu Yan Trail (Chusan Giant Trees Group) Introduction
Some sections (the Zhuangshu section) of the Dabang Suspension Bridge are closed, and the closure is expected to last until March 31, 2026. For safety reasons, please do not enter the closed areas. When it comes to Tefuye, most people naturally think of the Tefuye Historic Trail, but the Tefuye Trail and the Tefuye Historic Trail are two different trails. In comparison, the Tefuye Trail is easier to walk. This trail starts from the Dabang Suspension Bridge, circles around the Tefuye village, and overall forms a loop connecting Tefuye and Dabang settlements. From the pavilion at the trailhead, visitors can overlook the Iskian River Valley. Walking from the colorful Dabang Suspension Bridge onto the trail, most of it consists of steep wooden plank paths, but the ups and downs are not significant, making it smooth and easy to walk, and shaded by trees to avoid excessive exposure to the sun. As you reach the high point with an open view, the nearby Dabang village and distant green hills come into sight, with bamboo groves and giant camphor trees scattered along the path, creating a beautiful landscape and rich ecology. Deep in the bamboo forest, there are also several Tsou-style thatched pavilions for travelers to rest.
