Miao Chong Temple Introduction
Miao Chong Temple is located 7 km along Provincial Highway 27 in Liouguei District. It was originally built in 1963 in the Ciaoyah area of Kaohsiung City, but due to the road widening plans of the Kaohsiung City Government, the temple sought to continue promoting Buddhism. In 1984, a suitable site was found on Qingliang Mountain in Liouguei, and the official foundation-laying ceremony took place in 1988.
