Shih-ba Lo-han Mountain Service Area Introduction
The Shih Pa Lo Han Mountain Service Area is located in Liugui District along the Provincial Highway No. 27, approximately 5 kilometers from the starting point, next to the Laonong River. In collaboration with the Mo Xiao National Scenic Area Administration and the Forestry Bureau, the service area has been renovated to include a store and public restrooms, as well as a newly constructed landscape bridge connecting the high platform to the south, linking the two banks of the river. This provides visitors with different perspectives to appreciate the beauty of the Laonong River Valley, weathered rocks, and mountainous scenery. If you want to learn about the features of Shih Pa Lo Han Mountain, you can apply for guided tour services from the Shih Pa Lo Han Mountain Natural and Cultural Association, which currently operates by reservation only. If you would like a glimpse of the protected area, please apply online at the Pingtung Forest District Office 5 days in advance. It is recommended to stay for about 1 hour, and with the professional guided tour service, you can gain a deeper understanding of the local historical and cultural context!
