Eighteen Arhats Mountain Service Area Introduction
The Shih Pa Lo Han Mountain Service Area is located at approximately 5 kilometers on Provincial Highway No. 27甲 in the Liuqiu District, next to the Laonong River. In cooperation with the Forestry Bureau, the Maolin National Scenic Area Administration has renovated the Shih Pa Lo Han Mountain Visitor Service Area. This facility not only includes a shop and public restrooms but also features a newly constructed landscape bridge connecting the high terrace on the south side, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of the Laonong River Valley, weathered rocks, and mountain scenery from different perspectives. If you wish to experience the features of Shih Pa Lo Han Mountain, you can apply for guided tour services from the Shih Pa Lo Han Mountain Natural and Cultural Association, which operates on a reservation basis. If you would like to glimpse the protected area's aspects, please apply online through the Pingtung Forest District Office 5 days in advance.
