Shih Sang Luohan Mountain Service Area Introduction
The Shih-ba Lo-Han Mountain Service Area is located about 5 kilometers along Provincial Highway 27A in the Liugui District, next to the Laonong River. In collaboration with the Tourism Bureau of the Mautian National Scenic Area and the Forest Bureau, the Shih-ba Lo-Han Mountain tourist service area has been renovated, which includes the construction of a shop and public toilets, as well as a newly built landscape bridge connecting the high terrace on the south side, linking both banks of the river and providing visitors with a different perspective to appreciate the ecological beauty of the Laonong River valley, weathered rocks, and mountain scenery. If you would like to gain insight into the features of Shih-ba Lo-Han Mountain, you can apply for guided tour services through the Shih-ba Lo-Han Mountain Nature and Culture Association, which currently operates on a reservation basis. If you wish to glimpse into the protected area's landscape, please apply at least 5 days in advance through the Pingtung Forest District Office's website. A suggested stay of about 1 hour, coupled with professional guided tour services, can further enhance your understanding of the local historical and cultural context!
