Shih-ba Luo Han Mountain Service Area Introduction
The Shih-Pa-Luo-Han Mountain Service Area is located at approximately 5 kilometers along the Provincial Highway 27甲 in the Liouguei District, next to the Laonong River. In collaboration with the Forestry Bureau, the management office of the Maolin National Scenic Area has renovated the Shih-Pa-Luo-Han Mountain Tourist Service Area. The improvements include a retail store and public restrooms, as well as the addition of a landscape bridge connecting to the elevated area on the southern side, allowing visitors to enjoy different views of the Laonong River Valley, weathered rocks, and mountain scenery. If you wish to experience the features of Shih-Pa-Luo-Han Mountain, you can apply for a guided tour service through the Shih-Pa-Luo-Han Mountain Natural and Cultural Association, which currently requires prior reservation. If you would like to get a glimpse of the protected area, please apply online at the Pingtung Forest District Office 5 days in advance. It is recommended to spend about an hour there, and with the professional guided tour service, you will gain a deeper understanding of the local historical and cultural context!
