Sanzhi Visitor Center Introduction
The Sanzhi Visitor Center is located on a hillside surrounded by mountains, offering a spacious and comfortable resting area with a panoramic view. It provides tourism consultations, exhibition introductions, and information retrieval, making it convenient and versatile. The main building is designed in imitation of Tang Dynasty architecture, featuring a classic and elegant color palette that showcases a unique blend of classical and modern tastes. The Celebrity Relic Museum is situated inside the visitor center, in front of the old home of former President Lee Teng-hui, and is a new attraction that opened in October 2004. The museum displays the life contributions of four notable figures from Sanzhi, including Du Congming, Taiwan's first medical doctor; Jiang Wenye, Taiwan's first international composer; Lee Teng-hui, Taiwan's first directly elected president; and Lu Hsiu-yi, a legendary political pioneer. Through their life stories, visitors can learn more about the captivating tales of Sanzhi, highlighting the uniqueness of its local talents and illustrious figures. While enjoying the breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains, visitors can also immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Celebrity Relic Museum, experiencing a refreshing intellectual leisure activity for the soul.
