Sifang Ranch Introduction
The owner of Sifang Ranch originally engaged in the production of ready-to-wear clothing and raincoats. However, in the 1970s, as the New Taiwan Dollar began to appreciate and mainland China opened up, the survival space for labor industries in Taiwan became increasingly limited. Consequently, he sought to transform his business. At that time, Taiwan's dairy industry was already established, with dairy farms guaranteed 100% purchase of their milk by factories. This meant that dairy farmers only needed to focus on production, while the factories handled sales, and there was a guaranteed price for raw milk—a great industry indeed! The ranch owner was originally a farmer's child. When he was young, there were many mosquitoes in the countryside during summer, and the cows were often disturbed by them. He recalled his father making mosquito nets by hand to let the cows sleep inside, making them an integral part of the family and fostering a special affection for them. When it came to raising cows, both father and son wholeheartedly agreed (except for the wife), leading them into the dairy industry. Occupying over ten acres, Sifang Ranch preserves the pristine atmosphere of a traditional ranch. Visitors can stroll along the lush Acacia tree paths to enjoy a refreshing forest bath or revel in the vast green pastures. Most importantly, they can get close to the dairy cows and learn about their ecology! Whether feeding calves, observing the process of milking cows, or tasting the fresh milk rated as the best and most delicious by the Housewives Association, every experience is fresh and interesting.
