Sifang Farm Introduction
The owner of Sifang Ranch originally worked in the production of ready-made clothing and raincoats. However, in the 1970s, the Taiwanese dollar began to appreciate, and with the opening of mainland China, the space for labor-intensive industries in Taiwan became increasingly limited. Thus, he sought to transform his business. At that time, Taiwan's dairy industry was already well-established, with dairy factories purchasing 100% of the milk produced, allowing dairy farmers to focus solely on production while sales were entirely managed by the dairies, and fresh milk came with guaranteed prices. What a wonderful industry it was! The ranch owner was originally from a farming family; during his childhood in the countryside, there were many mosquitoes in the summer, and the cows were often disturbed by them. He saw his father sewing mosquito nets by hand to protect the cows, allowing them to sleep under the nets. The cows had become a part of the family, and naturally, he developed a special affection for them. When it came to raising cows, both father and son were fully supportive (except for the wife), which led them into the dairy industry. Covering more than ten acres, Sifang Ranch preserves the original and pristine ranch atmosphere. Visitors can follow the lush acacia tree path, enjoy a refreshing forest bath, or roam the green grasslands embracing the verdant scenery. Of course, what's more special is getting close to dairy cows and learning about their ecology! Whether feeding calves, observing the milking process, or tasting the fresh milk that has been rated as the best and most aromatic by the Housewives Association, it is all a fresh and fascinating experience.
