Hawaiian Red Guava Scenic Farm Introduction
Located on the Miaoli County Road 43 industrial road, the "Hawaiian Red Guava Agro-Tourism Farm" cultivates over 700 plants of red guava introduced from Hawaii. These guavas are vibrant in color, have fine texture, high sweetness, unique flavor, and high nutritional value, but their cultivation requires relatively advanced techniques. The Hawaiian red guava, planted in Shizhen Village, Yuanli Township, covers an area of one hectare, making it the largest red guava cultivation area in Taiwan. The peak season for the red guava from Yuanli, Miaoli, is from October to February of the following year, attracting many visitors eager to taste the rare sweetness of the guava. The farm owner creates a variety of dishes based on the characteristics of red guavas, such as guava soft-shell crab, guava seafood burgers, and guava spare ribs, each with a unique flavor that delights food enthusiasts!
