Candle Story House Introduction
"Little candles, big transformations"! The originally matte candles can now shine with golden light; transformed into the "Manju DIY Candle Story Museum," injecting vitality into Taiwan's traditional industry. From the 60s to the 80s of the Republic of China, it was the heyday of glass factories, and Manju was originally a glass manufacturing plant. At that time, glass jar candles were popular, and production was fully integrated; in the 80s, the glass industry began to decline, and Manju shifted to producing artistic candles, among which the wax figures for dolls became bestsellers in Europe and America. There were even traders hoping to buy the exclusive rights. However, due to cheap dumping from China, the overseas market shrank, leading to the painful decision to abandon the doll wax figures. While developing new products, Boss Chen began to think, "The candle factory must transform!" He envisioned creating a candle factory suitable for parent-child DIY experiences and designed candles that children could doodle on, hoping that parents visiting Manju would take home a lot of joy and satisfying gains! Thus, the name "Manju" was born! In 2015, it passed the certification of the Miaoli County government's story museum, hoping to promote more stories and beauty about candles to the people of the country! The Toufen Manju DIY Candle Story Museum embodies the culture and art of candles, featuring thousands of festive candles exported to various countries, letting the public understand candle knowledge. In addition to parent-child candle painting DIY, the museum also offers guided tours of the candle-making process. Everyone, both big and small, is welcome to explore the Manju DIY Candle Story Museum!
