The Cai Family Mansion, which has nearly 190 years of history, was built by the Cai clan who specifically invited craftsmen from China to Taiwan. Covering an area of 600 ping, the building is constructed with materials imported from China, using Fuzhou cedar for the beams and columns, and Tangshan stone for the floor tiles. Everywhere within the house, intricate and exquisite carvings can be seen, showcasing the beauty of sculptural art.
