Tonghai Secret Trail Introduction
The Tonghai Secret Trail, created by the Hakka Affairs Council at the Miaoli Hakka Cultural Park, guides visitors through wooden boardwalks and pebble pathways to experience the beauty of tung blossoms and mountain forest ecology. During the tung blossom season, walking along the Half Moon Pond Trail allows visitors to admire the shimmering pond and public art, while also overlooking the Tongluo urban area and feeling the enthusiasm of the tung blossoms. When the trail is covered in white flowers, it resembles a snowy landscape of the north. Besides the rich Hakka cultural exhibitions in the indoor exhibition hall, the Miaoli Park also features diverse environmental ecology outdoors. Visitors are welcome to explore the exhibitions at the Hakka Affairs Council Miaoli Hakka Cultural Park and then take a stroll along the trail for a dialogue between tung blossoms and the landscape.
