Tonghai Secret Trail Introduction
The Tung Hai Secret Pathway created by the Hakka Affairs Council at the Miaoli Hakka Cultural Park features wooden boardwalks and pebble pathways that guide visitors through its serene beauty, allowing them to experience the charm of Tung blossoms and the mountain ecosystem. During the blooming season of the Tung flowers, walking along the Half-Moon Pond trail, one can enjoy the shimmering reflections in the pond along with the beauty of public art, while also overlooking the Tongluo urban area and feeling the passion of the Tung blossoms. When the pathway is carpeted with white flowers, it resembles a snowy landscape from northern countries. In addition to the rich exhibitions on Hakka culture in the indoor exhibition hall, the Miaoli Park also offers diverse environmental ecology outdoors. After exploring the various exhibitions at the Hakka Affairs Council Miaoli Hakka Cultural Park, visitors are encouraged to take a stroll along the paths and engage in a dialogue with the Tung flowers and the mountains.
