Tonghai Secret Trail Introduction
The Tonghai Secret Trail, created by the Hakka Affairs Council at the Miaoli Hakka Cultural Park, guides visitors through wooden boardwalks and cobblestone paths to experience the beauty of tung flowers and forest ecology. During the peak bloom of tung flowers, walking along the path by the Half-Moon Pond allows for appreciation of the shimmering water and public art, as well as views overlooking the Tongluo area, immersing visitors in the passionate bloom of tung flowers. When the trail is covered in white petals, it resembles a snowy landscape of the North. In addition to the rich displays of Hakka culture in the indoor exhibitions, the Miaoli Park also features diverse ecological environments outdoors. Everyone is welcome to visit the Miaoli Hakka Cultural Park, enjoy the various exhibitions, and then take a stroll along the trail to engage in a dialogue with the tung flowers and the mountains and waters.
