Dreamy Tung Flower Trail Introduction
Located next to the Mingde Reservoir, the Tonghua Trail features an entrance adorned with lush green bamboo forests and a flowing creek nearby, giving it a unique charm. Once you pass through the bamboo path, a snowy scene filled with blooming white flowers appears, resembling mountain spirits gracefully drifting down. This area is not crowded with tourists, allowing for a delightful flower-viewing experience. By car: Take National Highway No. 3 and exit at the Houlong Interchange, turn right onto Taiwan Highway No. 6 towards the pedestrian overpass, continue straight to connect with National Highway No. 72 East-West Expressway, then take the Houlong Wenshui Expressway (No. 72 East-West Expressway). Exit at the Houdu Interchange and turn onto Taiwan Highway No. 13 towards Mingde Reservoir (Jianfeng Road). At the 24-kilometer mark, connect with Miaoli No. 22 Road (look for the yellow sign for Jishigong) and turn right onto Mingfengshan Road. The entrance to the Dreamy Tonghua Trail is 5.5 kilometers ahead. Public transport: From Miaoli Train Station, take Miaoli Bus routes 5801 or 5802 to the Mingfeng Entrance Station, which is about 5.5 kilometers from the Tonghua Trail.
