Dreamy Tung Flower Trail Introduction
The flower path located next to Mingde Reservoir begins with a lush green bamboo forest, alongside a small stream, giving the Tung Flower Trail a unique charm. Once you pass through the bamboo path, a scene resembling a snowy landscape of flowers appears, with blooming white flowers resembling mountain spirits gracefully descending. This area is not crowded with tourists, allowing for an elegant flower-viewing experience. By car: Take National Highway 3 and exit at Houlong Interchange, turn right onto Provincial Highway 6 towards the pedestrian bridge, continue straight and join the East-West Expressway (National Highway 72), then connect to the Houlong Wenshui Expressway (East-West Expressway 72). Exit at the Houwu Interchange and turn onto Provincial Highway 13 towards Mingde Reservoir (Jianfeng Road). At the 24-kilometer point, connect to Miaoli County Road 22 (look for the yellow sign of Jishi Temple) and turn right, then turn onto Mingfeng Mountain Road. The entrance to the dreamy Tung Flower Trail is 5.5 kilometers ahead. Public transport: From Miaoli Train Station, take the Miaoli Bus routes 5801 or 5802 to Mingfeng Entrance Station, which is about 5.5 kilometers from the Tung Flower Trail.
