Dreamy Tung Flower Trail Introduction
Located next to Mingde Reservoir, the Tung Flower Trail begins at an entrance surrounded by lush green bamboo groves, with a small stream flowing nearby, giving the trail a unique charm. After passing through the bamboo path, a snow-like landscape of blooming white flowers appears, resembling fairies drifting down from the mountains. This area is less crowded, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the flowers in peace. By car: Take National Highway No. 3 to the Houlong Interchange, turn right onto Provincial Highway No. 6, then turn right at the pedestrian overpass, continue straight to connect with National Highway No. 72 west-east expressway, and join the Houlong Wenshui Expressway (No. 72 west-east expressway). Take the Touhu Interchange and turn onto Provincial Highway No. 13 towards Mingde Reservoir (Jianfeng Road). At the 24-kilometer mark, turn onto Miao 22 Line (look for the yellow sign of Jishigong) and right turn onto Mingfeng Mountain Road. The entrance to the Dreamy Tung Flower Trail is 5.5 kilometers ahead. Public transport: From Miaoli Train Station, take Miaoli Bus route 5801 or 5802 to the Mingfeng Entrance Station, which is about 5.5 kilometers from the Tung Flower Trail.
