Dreamy Tung Blossom Trail Introduction
The Tung Flower Trail located next to Mingde Reservoir features an entrance surrounded by lush green bamboo forests, with a small stream running alongside it, giving the trail a unique charm. After passing through the bamboo path, a scene resembling a snowy wonderland emerges, where blooming white flowers seem to flutter down like forest sprites. This area is not heavily frequented by tourists, allowing for a leisurely flower-viewing experience. By car: Take the Holo Interchange on National Highway 3, turn right onto Taiwan Highway 6 to the pedestrian bridge, then straight on to connect to National Highway 72 East-West Expressway. Follow the Holo-Wenshui Expressway (Route 72) and exit at the Hitoo Interchange, turning onto Taiwan Highway 13 towards Mingde Reservoir (Jianfeng Road). At the 24 km mark, connect to Miaoli Route 22 (look for the yellow sign for Jishigong) and turn right onto Mingfeng Mountain Road. The entrance to the Dreamlike Tung Flower Trail is located 5.5 km ahead. Public transport: Take the Miaoli Train Station to Miaoli Bus 5801 or 5802 to Mingfeng Entrance Station, which is approximately 5.5 km from the Tung Flower Trail.
