New Dongda Bridge Introduction
Along Jingguo Road in Miaoli City, which runs parallel to Provincial Highway 72, is the best route for a night walk to enjoy the city lights. Ascending to the banks of the Houlong River dike along this section offers a wide view, where you can casually stroll with a few friends and gaze at the flickering lights in the distance. You can also take a moment to talk and enjoy the brilliant colors of the bridge up close. When the cool night breeze blows by and combines with the dazzling lights in front of you, this cost-free nighttime experience allows you to fully appreciate the refreshing air and the beautiful, misty night. On the outer side of the dike in this area is the Houlong River Cycling Path, and below the Xindong Bridge, a riverside park is planned, providing a variety of leisure experiences.
