Tung-Yu Persimmon Village Introduction
The Tongyou Persimmon Park is situated on two levels of platforms. The first level features the main building and an outdoor dining area, while the lower level retains a large grassy area, with planted trees, illuminated pathways, and a white piano, all suitable for leisurely walks and photography. Inside the main building, there are several indoor dining areas where the sunlight beautifully streams in through the large glass windows, creating enchanting light and shadow effects. Notably, the operators have collected many charming items, such as vintage hats, sewing machines, Vespa scooters, and old bicycles, along with Minions and colorful murals, creating numerous photo-worthy scenes. They even provide small lighting setups for photography, making it a perfect spot for endless snapshots! The Shiraz persimmons grown here are of exceptional quality, once designated as a royal delicacy for tasting by the Emperor of Japan during the Japanese colonial era. The site of Tongyou Persimmon Park was originally a persimmon orchard. Besides the full bloom of "May Snow" during the tung blossom season, several persimmon trees have been retained as landscape features, allowing visitors to admire the golden persimmons hanging from the branches in the autumn season. Additionally, there is currently the largest "sun-dried persimmon" processing plant in the county nearby, which can be visited during the persimmon drying season in autumn. After nightfall, the city lights below illuminate the surroundings; the streetlights along the winding roads resemble fiery dragons, with bright and colorful building lights interspersed throughout. Looking up, the night sky is filled with stars, creating a romantic scene that interplays harmoniously with the surroundings. Here, you can enjoy the fresh air, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, while savoring delicious food and admiring the night view!
