Main Deity: Baosheng Dadi (God of Medicine) Secondary Deity: Guanyin Bodhisattva Historical Background: Changhua Qing'an Temple, a designated historic site in Changhua, also known as Yintong Ancestor Temple, is dedicated to Baosheng Dadi and serves as a center of faith for immigrants from Quanzhou, Fujian during the Qing Dynasty. In the 22nd year of the Qianlong reign (1817), it was established by the residents of Tong'an County. The horizontal plaque in the temple reads "Yintong County Temple," referring to the beautiful name of Tong'an County. Baosheng Dadi, whose real name is Wu Zhen or Wu Zhenren, is popularly known as Dadaogong. He was a native of Baijiao in Tong'an during the Song Dynasty and was renowned for his miraculous healing abilities, revered by the public as the God of Medicine.
