Guiyuan Eco-Farm Introduction
Located in Puyan Township, Changhua County, Guiyuan Natural Ecological Farm is famous for its variety of precious chicken breeds and self-produced colorful eggs. The owner, Cai Guihui, initially engaged in the trade of jade and jewelry, but 22 years ago took over the family chicken farm. This sparked the idea that perhaps eggs could be as splendid and colorful as jewels, leading to a significant transformation of the farm. After more than 20 years of meticulous research and development, eggs have evolved from mere eggs into colorful delights that everyone can appreciate and savor. The farm uses carefully selected non-toxic food, along with ingredients like pineapple enzymes, probiotics, blue-green algae, onions, chili peppers, and garlic. Chickens are raised using natural pasturing methods and organic farming, resulting in high-quality, fresh eggs. A 90-square-meter Happy Egg Theme Pavilion was designed and constructed with concepts of environmental reuse, energy conservation, native plants, and ecological water circulation, offering not only knowledge about eggs but also showcasing different chicken breeds from around the world. Visitors can enjoy experiences feeding chickens, collecting eggs, and learning about eggs inside the pavilion, which features educational displays, related product sales, and various fun DIY activities.
