Guiyuan Ecological Farm Introduction
Located in Puyan Township, Changhua County, Guiyuan Ecological Farm is famous for its various precious chicken breeds and home-produced colored eggs. The owner, Tsai Kuei-hui, was originally engaged in the trade of jade and jewelry, until he took over the family chicken farm 22 years ago. Inspired by the idea that perhaps eggs could be as exquisite and colorful as jewelry, he began a major transformation. After much effort, he successfully brought a new atmosphere to Guiyuan. Through over 20 years of meticulous research and development, the eggs have become more than just eggs; they are colorful chicken eggs that everyone can appreciate and savor. The farm uses selected non-toxic foods along with ingredients like pineapple enzyme, probiotics, spirulina, onion, chili, and garlic. Healthy chickens are raised using natural grazing methods and sustainable agriculture, resulting in high-quality fresh eggs. The 90-square-meter Happiness Egg-themed pavilion is designed with concepts of environmental reuse, energy saving, native plants, and ecological pond circulation. In addition to providing knowledge about eggs, visitors can appreciate different chicken breeds from around the world. The farm offers experiences such as feeding chickens, collecting eggs, and indoor exhibitions that introduce egg knowledge, sales of related products, and various interesting DIY experiences.
