Guiyuan Eco-Farm Introduction
Located in Puyan Township, Changhua County, Guiyuan Natural Ecological Farm is famous for its various precious chicken breeds and self-produced colorful eggs. The owner, Cai Guihui, initially engaged in the trade of jade and jewelry but took over the family chicken farm 22 years ago. Inspired by the idea that perhaps eggs could be as splendid and colorful as jewelry, he began a major transformation. After much effort, Guiyuan has successfully emerged with a new vibe. Through over 20 years of dedicated research and development, eggs have become more than just ordinary eggs; they are now colorful eggs that everyone can appreciate and savor. Using selected non-toxic foods combined with ingredients such as pineapple enzymes, probiotics, spirulina, onions, chili peppers, and garlic, the farm raises healthy chickens through natural grazing and farming methods, resulting in high-quality fresh eggs. The 90-ping Happy Egg-themed Pavilion is designed with concepts of environmental reuse, energy conservation, native plants, and ecological water recycling. It provides knowledge about eggs, showcases different chicken breeds from around the world, and offers experiences such as feeding chickens and collecting eggs, as well as indoor exhibitions on egg knowledge, selling related products, and various interesting DIY activities.
Colorful eggs are produced by Guiyuan Livestock Farm through a unique breeding technique, using different chicken breeds. After a complex breeding system, hens naturally lay these eggs. In addition to their brilliant exterior colors, the entire process is carefully developed and cultivated by Guiyuan Farm, ensuring that no antibiotics, hormones, growth promoters, or drugs are used. This allows the chickens to grow healthily in a natural way.
