Ching Po Lan Garden Introduction
Ching Po Orchid Garden is located in Chengde Village, Wanluan Township. The garden features an 8,000 ping automated climate-controlled greenhouse that strictly monitors the growth environment of orchid seedlings, including temperature, humidity, light intensity, and ventilation, in order to produce high-quality Phalaenopsis orchids. As Ching Po Orchid Garden does not use pesticides and instead applies natural fertilizers, particularly enhancing the prevention of pests and diseases, the greenhouse is filled with lush green seedlings, and the blooming flowers are naturally very beautiful, making Ching Po Orchid Garden, situated in the countryside, resemble a stunning haven of flowers. Due to its location at the foot of a mountain, Ching Po Orchid Garden often experiences terrain-induced rainfall during summer, resulting in higher humidity levels. This humid environment can easily lead to yellow leaf disease and soft rot, making such climatic conditions unsuitable for orchid cultivation. To improve these unfavorable conditions, Ching Po Orchid Garden has built automated temperature-controlled greenhouses that spray disinfectants and utilize fans for ventilation, significantly reducing the occurrence of diseases. The garden cultivates a wide variety of orchids, including white flowers, white with red hearts, red flowers, and rare varieties, with the "Small White Phalaenopsis" being the most abundant, occupying two greenhouses. The high-quality Phalaenopsis produced here, due to its excellent and stable quality, even enjoys export to Japan, the United States, and mainland China. In Taiwan's orchid industry, Ching Po Orchid Garden is a relatively large-scale orchid garden and has established a good reputation for orchid cultivation in Taiwan.
