Ching Po Lan Garden Introduction
Ching Po Orchid Garden is located in Chengde Village, Wanluan Township. It features an 8,000 ping automated environmental control greenhouse that strictly monitors the growth conditions of orchid seedlings, including temperature, humidity, light, and ventilation adjustments, to produce high-quality Phalaenopsis orchids. Since Ching Po Orchid Garden does not use pesticides and applies natural fertilizers, particularly emphasizing the prevention of pests and diseases, visitors to the orchid garden will see lush green seedlings, and the blossoming flowers are naturally beautiful, making the garden situated in the countryside look like a stunning paradise. Ching Po Orchid Garden is located at the foot of a mountain, and during the summer, it often experiences orographic rain, leading to high humidity levels. This high humidity can easily cause yellow leaf disease and soft rot, making such climatic conditions unsuitable for cultivating orchids. To improve these unfavorable conditions, Ching Po Orchid Garden has built automated temperature-controlled greenhouses, which not only spray disinfectants but also utilize fans to maintain ventilation, significantly reducing the occurrence of diseases. The garden cultivates many varieties of orchids, including white-flowered species, white with red heart species, red-flowered species, and rare varieties, among which the quantity of "small white Phalaenopsis" is the highest, covering an area of two greenhouses. The high-quality Phalaenopsis orchids produced here, due to their excellent and stable quality, are even exported to Japan, the United States, and mainland China. In the Taiwanese orchid industry, Ching Po Orchid Garden is a relatively large orchid garden and has established a good reputation for Taiwan in orchid cultivation.
