Qingye Tribe Introduction
Qingye Village in Sandimen Township is the only Rukai tribe in the area. It is known for producing the beautiful record "Ao Ba! The Most Beautiful Tribe" and is home to the descendants of Princess Paleng, who fell in love with the hundred-step snake in Rukai legends. What is most moving is how the tribe members have come together to promote the cross-art street, transforming their home walls into beautiful and meaningful stories. Family myths are painted on the walls, and hunters' families depict bears, Formosan sika deer, and other wildlife as the main characters. Even the colorful butterflies at the entrance by the foot of the mountain flap their wings to invite you to visit.
