Lin-hou Sihlin Plain Forest Park Introduction
"Lin Hou Si Lin Flatland Forest Park" is located in Chaozhou Township, Pingtung County. It is one of the three selected flatland forest park locations under the government’s Love Taiwan 12 Infrastructure Plan - Green Afforestation Project. The park aims to combine forest recreation with the concept of green afforestation, utilizing low-density, green building designs that align with ecological, energy-saving, carbon-reducing, and health standards to create a complete ecological system for environmental education. It seeks to teach the public and students about respect for natural resources, the concept of ecology, and attitudes toward life. Additionally, it incorporates the local environmental characteristics, historical culture, and regional industries of Pingtung to boost local development, enhance regional economic benefits, and elevate the value of traditional agricultural production, ultimately creating a unique, diverse ecological park focused on local features. It aims to develop ecological education and deep tourism recreational forms to achieve the value of green afforestation.
