Yingda Ecological Leisure Farm Introduction
Yingda Eco Leisure Farm is located in Chengde Village, Wanluan Township, Pingtung County, covering an area of approximately 50 hectares at an altitude of around 100 meters. The farm is surrounded by Rosewood and Acacia tree plantations, and features ponds, grass lawns, and fruit orchards, attracting a variety of wildlife and showcasing a rich natural ecological environment. Visitors can enjoy stargazing, bird watching, and listening to the sounds of insects and frogs, making for a memorable travel experience. The lush trees provide excellent habitats for birds, with over 160 plant species and more than 60 bird species recorded at Yingda Eco Leisure Farm. Common birds include the Black-naped Oriole, Little Banded Rail, Large-tailed Nightjar, and more. In winter, the Red-tailed Shrike can be seen visiting the area, while the most unique birds here include the rare and protected Chinese Golden Pheasant and Yellow Oriole, with the latter being visible year-round only at Yingda Eco Leisure Farm and National Pingtung University of Science and Technology in the Pingtung area. The leisure facilities at Yingda Eco Leisure Farm include ecological conservation areas, lychee orchards, ornamental plant sections, and campgrounds, complemented by forests, hills, and ponds, creating a peaceful and picturesque scenery by the mountains and water.
