Yingda Ecological Leisure Farm Introduction
Yingda Ecological Leisure Farm is located in Chengde Village, Wanluan Township, Pingtung County, covering an area of about 50 hectares at an altitude of around 100 meters. The farm is surrounded by Mahogany and Australian Acacia, and features pools, lawns, and orchards, attracting many wild animals and showcasing a vibrant natural environment. Visitors can enjoy stargazing, bird watching, and listening to the sounds of insects and frogs, creating rich travel memories. The lush trees provide ideal nesting places for birds, with over 160 plant species and more than 60 bird species recorded, including common species such as the Black-naped Oriole, Brown-headed Crow, Asian Brown Flycatcher, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Red Dove, Green Bee-eater, Emerald Dove, Crested Serpent Eagle, Black Kite, Purple Swamphen, Kingfisher, and White-bellied Waterhen. During winter, the Red-tailed Shrike can also be seen. Notably, the rare and protected species, the Black-faced Bunting and the Yellow Bunting, can be observed here year-round, with Yingda Ecological Leisure Farm and National Pingtung University of Science and Technology being the only places in Pingtung where these birds can reliably be spotted. The recreational facilities in Yingda Ecological Leisure Farm include an ecological conservation area, lychee orchard, ornamental plant area, camping site, and scenic landscapes of forests, hills, and ponds, creating a serene and idyllic atmosphere.
