Sandimen Cultural Center Introduction

The Sandimen Cultural Center, located in Zhongshan Park in Sandimen Township, was established by the Sandimen Township Office. The Cultural Center is situated on the site of a shrine preserved since the Japanese occupation period. Currently managed by the Dimaer Cultural Industry and Arts Association, it serves as a window for the exhibition and sale of Sandimen's arts and crafts. The center is equipped with a "Cultural Relics Exhibition Area," "Viewing Room," "Lounge," and "Observation Deck," as well as a community kitchen featuring a giant eagle sculpture, showcasing local artistic creations and industries, reflecting the characteristics of Paiwan culture. In addition to the rich exhibitions, a massive elevated ceramic jar and an indigenous totem can be seen in the plaza on the left, while the grassy area on the right serves as an observation deck, with indigenous-style architecture nestled among the greenery. Climbing to the second floor of the observation deck offers a distant view of the mountains and streams.
