Sandimen Craft Trail Introduction
The Sandimen Craft Trail is located on Section 1, Zhongzheng Road, Sandimen Township. Walking on the craft trail is equivalent to touring the main craft workshops of the entire village, with the "Ege Studio" as the starting point. The trail stretches approximately 453 meters and was created collaboratively by the villagers in 2002. The 1,212 ceramic tiles were hand-painted by the elders and children of the village. In Sandimen Craft Trail, you can find many workshops, such as Dragonfly House Workshop, Ege Craft Studio, and Shatao Dance Glass Art Space, which focus on glass beads, pottery, and clothing creation. Through the efforts of the villagers, a blend of modern and traditional techniques has been integrated into daily life, allowing more people to understand and appreciate their culture. Visitors can DIY and create their own crafts, leaving behind a beautiful memory of their journey. It is recommended to stay for about 2-3 hours, and if you wish to experience DIY, it is advisable to contact the shops in advance for reservations.
