Liri Trail Introduction
Lili Mountain has an elevation of 1,170 meters and is designated as the third-class triangulation point No. 4249. The trailhead starts from the old Lili settlement, 11.5 kilometers along the Dahan Forest Road, and a fast hiking pace takes about 50 minutes to reach the summit triangulation point. The Lili Mountain hiking trail is a challenging route, with hikers dividing it into several sections: Gentle Slope, Tough Guy Slope, Round Peak, Hard Slope, Sharp Peak, and Main Peak, collectively referred to as crossing the five passes. Among these, the Hard Slope truly lives up to its name and hikers should prepare mentally. The Round Peak and Sharp Peak sections of the Lili Mountain trail offer the best viewpoints; weather permitting, one can see Beihu Lushan. In the right season, the mountains are filled with red-bordered butterflies, making this a scenic and rich hiking trail.
