Shuibi Lia Old House Cluster Introduction
Shuidiliao has been cultivated since the early Qing dynasty, with families such as the Chen, Liang, and Zhao establishing this area. The ancient houses were built by the ancestors of these families, with construction dates ranging from the 1970s and 1980s to over a hundred years ago. Through the exploration of these ancient houses, we can not only appreciate the richness of folk craftsmanship but also uncover the historical context, natural conditions, cultural environment, social culture, construction methods, and material applications of the time. This allows the descendants born and raised here to understand how their ancestors built their homes amidst the wilderness.
