Horseback Adjustment Pool Water Conservancy Park Introduction
The Mabei Adjustment Reservoir is located in the northwest of Longtian Village, near the Gao Tai Tea District to the north and the Longtian Pineapple District to the south. The reservoir's water is drawn from the Luye Irrigation Canal; it has a length of 115 meters, a width of 105 meters, and a depth of 8 meters, covering an area of approximately 1.2 hectares, with a total storage capacity of about 60,000 tons. It is currently the largest artificial irrigation reservoir in Taiwan. Surrounded by mountains, with clear skies and fresh air, the stream channel is formed using natural ecological methods with stones, providing clear water, while gazebos and flower gardens create ecological and waterfront areas, offering an unprecedented refreshing landscape. Combined with the surrounding scenery of water and mountains, nearby scenic tea gardens, bicycle paths, and paragliding, visitors can experience a smooth and freely three-dimensional travel landscape at the Luye Irrigation Mabei Adjustment Reservoir Water Park.
