Fugang Fishing Port Introduction
Fugang Fishing Harbor, originally named "Jialulan Harbor," is located near the Amis tribe's Jialulan community. It is a port near Taitung City, approximately 6 kilometers away from the city, and ranks second in size after Chenggong Fishing Harbor, making it the second largest port in Taitung County. Due to its geographical location, Fugang Fishing Harbor not only serves as a supply port for catches but also has become a port with significant tourism value because of its proximity to Taitung City. The area outside the harbor is filled with seafood restaurants where visitors can enjoy fresh catches brought in daily. Additionally, since ferries to Green Island and Orchid Island depart from this location, it attracts a continuous flow of tourists during holidays and peak tourist seasons. Fugang Harbor, along with nearby Xiaoyeliu and Jialulan Coast, forms a tourist belt ideal for half-day or full-day trips, functioning as a multi-functional port that combines tourism, industry, and transportation.
