Jialulan Introduction

Jialulan features a vast expanse of green lawns, resting pavilions, interpretive stations, and observation decks, making it the best rest stop for travelers along the East Coast. The beautiful coastal scenery and unique installation art here have become popular photo spots. Visitors can stroll by the sea, listen to the sound of the waves, feel the sea breeze, and bask in the warm sunshine during leisurely times. Alternatively, visiting Jialulan at night allows one to gaze at the vast starry sky free from light pollution. In addition to admiring the natural beauty, the area also hosts several installation art pieces made from driftwood, including "My Good Friend," which features two fish standing by the sea and carries the message: "Welcome to passing travelers, have a relaxed and pleasant journey!" Other artworks include "Window Lattice," "Dance of the Rising Sun," "Windmill Set," and "Weeping Dew," with even the decorations in the resting pavilion showcasing the presence of driftwood, making Jialulan the most beautiful arts and cultural coastal recreation area.

Transportation Methods:To the north: Take the DK Transportation or Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Hai Route bus from Taitung Train Station to Chenggong, Jingpu, or Hualien, and get off at Jialulan Station. To the south: Take the Hualien Bus Hai Route from Hualien Train Station to Taitung, and get off at Jialulan Station. Tickets:Large vehicles: NT$70 on weekends, NT$50 on weekdays; small vehicles: NT$50 on weekends, NT$30 on weekdays; motorcycles: NT$20 on weekends, NT$10 on weekdays.
