Jialulan is close to Fugang Geopark (Xiaoyeliu) and features expansive lawns, pavilions, interpretation stations, and observation decks. It is the best rest stop for traveling along the East Coast. The area continues to showcase weathering and coastal erosion landscapes, the coastline has unique patterns, and there are many driftwood art installations on the grass, making it a must-visit place on the East Coast tour.

Jiaoluan Introduction

Jialulan features a vast expanse of lawn, resting pavilions, interpretation stations, and observation platforms, making it the perfect rest stop for travelers on the East Coast. The stunning coastal scenery and unique installation art have made it a popular photography spot. Visitors can stroll along the beach, listen to the sound of the waves, feel the sea breeze, and enjoy leisurely moments under the warm sunlight, or visit Jialulan at night to gaze at the vast starry sky with minimal light pollution. In addition to appreciating the natural beauty, there are numerous installation art pieces made from driftwood in the area, including two fish sculptures standing by the sea, titled "My Good Friends," which welcomes passing travelers with the message: "Wishing you a relaxing and enjoyable journey!" Other installations include "Window Lattice," "Dance of the Rising Sun," "Windmill Group," "Weeping Dew," and even decorations in the resting pavilions that showcase driftwood, making Jialulan the most beautiful artistic coastal recreation area.

Transportation Methods:From the north: Take the Dongshan bus or the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Haixian bus from Taitung Railway Station to Chenggong, Jingpu, or Hualien, and get off at Jialulan Station. From the south: Take the Hualien Bus Haixian service from Hualien Railway Station to Taitung, and get off at Jialulan Station.
