Jialulan is near Fuguang Geological Park (Xiao Ye Liu), featuring spacious lawns, pavilions, interpretation stations, and observation decks. It is the best resting spot for travelers along the East Coast. The area continues to showcase weathering and coastal erosion landscapes, with unique patterns along the coastline. There are also many driftwood art installations on the grass, making it a must-visit location on the East Coast journey.

Jialulan Introduction

Jialulan features a vast expanse of lawn, resting pavilions, interpretation stations, and viewing platforms, making it the best rest stop along the East Coast. The beautiful coastal scenery and unique installation art have turned it into a popular photo spot. Travelers can stroll by the sea to listen to the sounds of the waves, enjoy the sea breeze, and bask in the warm sunshine while spending leisurely time. Visiting Jialulan at night allows one to gaze upon the vast, unpolluted starry sky. In addition to appreciating the natural beauty, there are also many installation artworks made from driftwood in the area. Notably, two fish sculptures standing by the sea, titled "My Good Friend," greet travelers with the message: "Welcome passing travelers, have a relaxed and pleasant journey!" Other installations include "Window Lattice," "Dance of the Rising Sun," "Windmill Set," and "Crying Dew." Even the decorations in the resting pavilion show traces of driftwood, making Jialulan the most beautiful cultural and recreational area along the coast.

Transportation Methods:To go north: Take the Dongshan Bus or Taiwan Tourist Shuttle’s Coastal Line from Taitung Train Station to Chenggong or Jingpu, or to Hualien, and get off at Jialulan Station. To go south: Take Hualien Bus's Coastal Line from Hualien Train Station to Taitung, and get off at Jialulan Station.
