Jialulan is close to Fugang Geopark (Xiao Yeliu), featuring wide grassy lawns, pavilions, interpretation stations, and observation decks. It is the best rest stop for traveling along the East Coast. The area continues to showcase weathered and coastal erosion landscapes, with uniquely patterned coastlines. There are also many driftwood installation art pieces on the grass, making it a must-visit spot on the East Coast journey.

Jialulan Introduction

Jialulan features a vast lawn, resting pavilions, interpretation stations, and viewing platforms, making it the perfect rest stop for travelers on the East Coast. The beautiful coastal scenery and unique installation art have made it a popular photo spot. Visitors can take a stroll by the sea, listen to the sound of the waves, enjoy the sea breeze, and bask in the warm sunlight for a leisurely time. At night, visiting Jialulan allows you to gaze at the vast starry sky free from light pollution. In addition to enjoying the natural beauty, the area also hosts several installation art pieces made from driftwood, including two fish sculptures by the sea titled "My Good Friends," which invites passing travelers to "have a relaxing and pleasant journey!" Other installations include "Lattice Window," "Dance of the Rising Sun," "Windmill Group," and "Weeping Dew." Even the decorations in the resting pavilions feature driftwood elements, making Jialulan the most beautiful cultural and recreational coastal area.

Transportation Methods:By heading north: Take the Dingtong Bus or Taiwan Tourist Shuttle on the East Coast from Taitung Railway Station to Chenggong, Jingpu, or Hualien, and get off at Jalulan Station. Heading south: Take the Hualien Bus on the East Coast from Hualien Railway Station to Taitung, and get off at Jalulan Station.
