Jinlun Hot Spring Scenic Area Introduction

Jinlun Hot Spring is located in Jinlun Village, Taimali Township, and is a famous hot spring destination in Taitung. It features both hotel hot spring facilities and natural wild hot springs. Visitors can access the hot spring area by turning off the Southern Cross-Island Highway or alight at Jinlun Station on the Southern Link Line, with a driving time of within 10 minutes to various hot spring accommodations, making it an ideal spot for a break or an overnight stay. Surrounded by lush mountains and forests, soaking in the hot springs here not only helps to relax the body and mind but also allows one to immerse in nature and forget everyday worries. The hot spring water is clear and transparent, belonging to a weakly alkaline sodium bicarbonate spring, with a pH value between 7 and 8. Jinlun Hot Spring has a rich water source, with spring water temperatures reaching between 70 to 90 degrees Celsius, so it is essential to pay attention to the water temperature while soaking. In addition to the hot spring hotels, Jinlun Hot Spring also offers appealing wild hot springs. The best time to experience the wild hot springs is during the winter dry season until the end of the Mei Yu (plum rain) season the following year. However, as the wild hot springs are located in a natural environment, it is advisable to go with someone familiar with the area for safety.
