Jinzhun Fishing Port Introduction
Jinzun Harbor is located in Donghe Township, Taitung County, situated between Xinguang Fishing Port in Chenggong Township and Fugang Fishing Port in Taitung City. Construction began in 1984 and was completed in 1987. Jinzun Harbor is not only an excellent fishing spot that attracts many anglers year-round, but starting in November, the northeast monsoon creates optimal conditions for surfing. With the promotion of the Taitung County Government, Jinzun Harbor has served as the venue for the "Taiwan International Surfing Open" since 2011. It has become a representative international surfing competition in Taiwan and is recognized by the World Surf League, attracting not only local surfers but also many international top competitors to Taiwan.
