Jinzun is home to Taiwan's only land-connected island that is still forming. It is named "Jinzun" because it resembles a wine cup, and due to its shape resembling an anchor, it is also called "Anchor Island" or "Anchor Shaped Reef." The East Coast National Scenic Area Administration has established a rest area here where visitors can overlook the entire coastal panorama, capturing the beautiful coastal scenery in full view.

Golden Cup Introduction

Jinzun offers a panoramic view of the coastline, including Jinzun Fishing Port, Baisha Bay Beach, and the nearby Shanqian Canyon, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the beautiful scenery. It is renowned for being the only developing land bridge island in Taiwan, resembling a cup shape, hence the name "Jinzun." Additionally, due to its anchor-like shape, it is also referred to as "Anchor Island" or "Anchor Reef." Jinzun features a pristine and charming beach that stretches for 3 kilometers, where travelers can go to the viewing and resting area to enjoy the sea view, listen to the sound of the waves, and closely experience the picturesque charm of the white waves crashing against the shore. In December, during the winter months, one can visit Jinzun Fishing Port to enjoy the International Surfing Open competition and watch the surfers masterfully riding the waves! After enjoying the soft sands of Jinzun, visitors can return to the resting area for a brief rest while gazing at the land bridge island, making it a delightful and fulfilling experience.
