Golden Harvest Pavilion Introduction
Golden Harvest Pavilion is a rice tourism factory planned by the Chihshang Township Farmers' Association to combine leisure and education, making the rice milling process transparent: inspection and grading, low-temperature drying, hulling, processing, and packaging. With explanations by professionals alongside written information, visitors can see how these advanced facilities ensure the quality and selection of each grain of rice we consume. The Golden Harvest Pavilion not only features a museum area and experience classrooms but also offers free guided tours by reservation and a gift exhibition and sales center, becoming a tourism factory that integrates refined rice processing with rice education. Additionally, it exhibits various agricultural tools such as oxen yokes, rice seedling trays, snack baskets, and wind winnowers, creating a nostalgic atmosphere that allows visitors to appreciate the hard work involved in farming. After exploring the static exhibitions, visitors can engage in dynamic activities like hands-on rice milling and DIY popcorn making, and they can take home their packaged rice as a souvenir. They can also enjoy traditional harvest meals filled with rich flavors, with a series of activities that allow visitors not just to observe but also to personally engage with this ancient industry.
