Golden Harvest Hall Introduction
The Golden Harvest Hall is a rice tourism factory planned by the Chiruo Township Farmers' Association to combine leisure and education. It makes the rice milling process transparent: inspection and grading, low-temperature drying, hulling, processing, and packaging, accompanied by explanations from professionals, allowing visitors to see how advanced equipment ensures the quality and selection of every grain of rice we eat. The Golden Harvest Hall features not only a cultural relic area and experience classrooms but also offers free guided tours and a gift exhibition center, making it a rice tourism factory that integrates exquisite rice milling and rice education. Additionally, it exhibits many agricultural tools, such as cow nose rings, seedling basins, snack baskets, and wind-blowing machines, creating a nostalgic atmosphere that allows visitors to feel the hard work involved in farming. After visiting the static exhibition, tourists can participate in dynamic activities such as hands-on rice milling and DIY popcorn making, and they can also take home the rice they packaged as a souvenir, enjoying the rich traditional flavor of harvest rice. This series of activities, where visitors can both eat and take home, allows them not just to observe, but to personally engage with this ancient industry.
