Guanshan Circular Bike Path Introduction
The Guanshan Circular Bicycle Path is Taiwan's first dedicated bicycle path, encircling the town of Guanshan with a total length of about 12 kilometers, divided into two sections: the "Waterfront Section" and the "Mountain Section." The "Waterfront Section" starts from the Guanshan Riverside Park and follows along the Guanshan Ditch and the Kanding Stream. Along the way, one can see the majestic green Central Mountain Range and the vast rice fields of the Hualien-Taitung Valley, which offer different sceneries throughout the year. The tender green rice seedlings bring vitality in spring, while the mountain breeze sweeps through the rice waves before harvest, and the aroma of rice fills the air, providing complete relaxation. After the harvest, fields of rapeseed flowers bloom, transforming Guanshan’s beautiful mountains and waters into a vibrant masterpiece.
