Daguan Secret Realm Introduction
Dakovan Secret Realm is located on the banks of the Beinan River, east of Degao Village in Guanshan Township, Taitung County, covering an area of about 2 to 3 hectares. It was previously a wetland left behind after construction by the Tenth River Management Office of the Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs. In collaboration with the Agricultural Water Resources Office, the Guanshan Township Office transformed it into an artificial pond and named it Dakovan, derived from the Amis language pronunciation of the local Degao Tribe.
