Tianji Aviation Co., Ltd. was established in 2014 and is the first company in Taiwan authorized by the Civil Aeronautics Administration to operate hot air balloon flights legally. In addition to being based at the Taitung Flight Enlightenment Base, the company plans to expand its capabilities for hot air balloon maintenance and to train related technical personnel. To promote professional knowledge about hot air balloons and the unique culture of Taitung's hot air balloons, it will collaborate with relevant organizations to offer hot air balloon education courses, deepening knowledge in Taitung! Starting today, to promote the industrialization of Taitung's hot air balloon sector, the company will offer regular flights for aerial tours, available every day of the year—as long as the weather permits—that can be reserved in advance. Future operations by Tianji Aviation include: ◎ Establishing a hot air balloon flight training school in Taitung, serving as a training base for pilot education, classes, outdoor exhibitions, and balloon operations. ◎ Setting up a hot air balloon maintenance facility and custodial services for storing, maintaining, and servicing hot air balloons, so that all hot air balloons across Taiwan can receive professional maintenance at this base. ◎ Establishing an environmental education center to promote environmental interpretation and education about hot air balloons, enhancing public understanding and appreciation of hot air balloons. ◎ Activities related to the hot air balloon industry, such as regular aerial tours, corporate tethered balloon experiences, hot air balloon educational experience packages, and the development and sale of souvenirs.
