Established in 2014, Sky Lantern Aviation Co., Ltd. is the first company in Taiwan to legally operate hot air balloon flights approved by the Civil Aeronautics Administration. Besides setting up its base at Taitung Flying Enlightenment Base, the company will expand to establish domestic hot air balloon maintenance capabilities and train relevant technical personnel. In order to promote the specialized knowledge of hot air balloons and the unique culture of Taitung's hot air balloons, it will collaborate with relevant units to conduct hot air balloon educational courses to deepen knowledge in Taitung! Starting today, to promote the commercialization of Taitung's hot air balloon industry, the company is launching regular flights that accept reservations for daily aerial tours, provided the weather permits, 365 days a year! Future business projects of Sky Lantern Aviation include: ◎ Establishing a hot air balloon flight school in Taitung to serve as a training base for pilot education, classes, outdoor balloon exhibitions, and operations training. ◎ Setting up a hot air balloon maintenance facility and custodial service providing hot air balloon storage, maintenance, and care, so that hot air balloons from all over Taiwan can be sent to this base for professional maintenance in the future. ◎ Creating an environmental education center to promote hot air balloon environmental interpretation and education, enhancing the public's understanding and love for hot air balloons. ◎ Regular hot air balloon aerial tours, corporate tethered balloon experiences, hot air balloon educational experience travel packages, souvenir development and sales, and various hot air balloon industry activities.
