Lujhou High Platform Introduction
Luye Highland offers an excellent view, allowing visitors to overlook the entire highland area and the fields in the Peinan River Valley. It is also a prime location for outdoor activities in eastern Taiwan. From June to August, Luye Highland is an ideal place for hot air balloon activities. Riding in a slowly ascending hot air balloon, visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Hualien-Taitung Valley and experience the thrill of takeoff firsthand. Following the signs from Longtian Village towards the highland, the terrain gradually rises. After passing the Luye Highland Tea Exhibition Center, a vast green grass slope comes into view. Climbing to the highest point of the slope, known as the Viewing Pavilion, offers a panoramic view of the entire highland area and the valley. During the summer vacation, the Taiwan International Hot Air Balloon Festival and Light and Music Concerts are grandly held, attracting travelers from around the world. These events feature hot air balloon tethering experiences, free flight performances, and stunning light and music shows, such as the Dawn Light and Music Concert, creating unforgettable memories.
