Luye Plateau Introduction

Luye Highland offers stunning views, allowing visitors to take in the entire Luye area and the landscapes of the Beinanshe valley. It is also a prime natural activity venue in eastern Taiwan. From June to August, Luye Highland is the perfect spot for hot air balloon activities. Riding on a slowly ascending hot air balloon, one can immerse in the beautiful scenery of the Hualien-Taitung Valley and personally experience the exhilarating sensation of takeoff. Following the signs from Longtian Village towards the highland, the elevation gradually increases. Not far after passing the Luye Tea Exhibition Center, a vast green slope comes into view. Climbing to the highest point of the slope at the Viewing Pavilion, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Luye area and the valley below. During the summer vacation, the grand Taiwan International Hot Air Balloon Festival and light sculpture music events attract travelers from all over the world. The experiences of tethered balloon rides, hot air balloon flight performances, and the dazzling light sculpture music events, including the Dawn Light Sculpture Music Festival, create unforgettable memories.

Transportation Methods：By Train: Take the Taiwan Railways and get off at Luye Station, then transfer to the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Luye Line and get off at Luye Highland Station to arrive. Parking Information：Luye Highland has a parking lot, and during the Hot Air Balloon Festival, several additional parking areas will be planned for vehicles.

Remarks：1. The hot air balloon's inflation, ascent, and tethering are all affected by weather conditions. Please closely follow the information from the organizers during the event. 2.
