This pond was originally a piece of farmland, transformed into a water dam by the chief of the Dajiahkan Tribe, Bihwa Lisi. However, the dam deteriorated over time, and it was restored by Bihe's eldest son, who channeled spring water into the pond and named it "Bihe Pond."
