Phoenix Mountain Villa (Sais Village) Introduction
Phoenix Villa (Sais Village), located in the upstream area of Fenglin Creek on the west side of the Hakka community in Fenglin Township, offers facilities such as camping areas and barbecue sites. It also provides accommodation, shopping, and dining for travelers. Surrounded by lush mountains and flowing streams, it is near Phoenix Waterfall and Fenglin Creek, making it ideal for a natural ecological tour. Originally, Phoenix Villa was the water source for the Fenglin area, known for its clear and sweet water, with pristine natural landscapes. Following the flowing waters of Fenglin Creek towards the mountains, one can see the beautiful Phoenix Waterfall, which hangs like a silver ribbon 10 meters high on the cliff. The air is filled with negative ions, and the shallow water pool is cool and clear, making it a recreational area rich in wilderness. Therefore, the Fenglin Township Office planned this area as the Phoenix Waterfall Scenic Area in earlier years, providing a refreshing respite during the hot summer months. After the establishment of the East Rift Valley National Scenic Area, this location was designated as a recreational area for developing natural ecological tourism and spiritual exploration, utilizing the existing buildings of Phoenix Villa while adding camping areas, barbecue sites, and other related facilities. Sais Village organizes various spiritual exploration activities every month to offer visitors to the East Rift Valley a different style and type of activity choice.
