Phoenix Mountain Lodge (Sais Village) Introduction
The serene Phoenix Mountain Villa (Sais Village) is located in the upper reaches of the Fenglin River on the west side of Hakka township Fenglin. It features camping areas, barbecue facilities, and offers accommodations, shopping, and dining for travelers. Surrounded by lush mountains and flowing streams, it is close to Phoenix Waterfall and Fenglin River, making it a perfect destination for nature ecotourism. Phoenix Mountain Villa was originally a water source for the Fenglin area, known for its clear and sweet water, and retains its primitive natural landscape. Following the gently flowing Fenglin River and following the marked path towards the mountains, visitors can witness the beautiful Phoenix Waterfall, which cascades like a silver ribbon from a height of 10 meters. The air is filled with negative ions, and the cool, clear pools are a delightful recreational spot. Therefore, the Fenglin Township Office designated this area as the Phoenix Waterfall Scenic Area years ago, providing a refreshing escape during the hot summer. After the establishment of the Huadong Valley National Scenic Area, this place was planned as a recreational area for developing nature ecotourism and spiritual exploration, utilizing the existing structures of Phoenix Mountain Villa while adding camping areas, barbecue facilities, and other related amenities. Each month, Sais Village organizes various spiritual exploration activities, hoping to offer travelers visiting the Huadong Valley a different style and type of activity choice.
