Phoenix Mountain Villa (Sais Village) Introduction
The serene Phoenix Villa (Sais Village) is located in the upstream area of the Fenglin Creek on the western side of Hakka Township Fenglin. It features camping areas, barbecue facilities, and provides accommodation, shopping, and dining for travelers. Surrounded by lush mountains and flowing streams, it is close to Phoenix Waterfall and Fenglin Creek, making it an ideal destination for nature and ecological tourism. Originally, Phoenix Villa served as a water source for the Fenglin area, with its clear and sweet water and pristine natural landscape. Following the gentle flow of Fenglin Creek and the marked path leading to the mountains, visitors can see the beautiful Phoenix Waterfall, which hangs like a silver ribbon from a 10-meter high cliff. The air is filled with negative ions, and the clear water pools are cool and refreshing, making it a wonderful recreation spot immersed in the wild. In the early years, the Fenglin Township Office designated this area as the Phoenix Waterfall Scenic Area, providing a cool respite during the hot summer months. After the establishment of the Huadong Valley National Scenic Area, this site was developed into a recreational area for nature and soul exploration tourism. Utilizing the existing structures of Phoenix Villa, they added camping areas, barbecue spots, and other related facilities. Sais Village also hosts a variety of soul exploration activities every month, aiming to offer travelers visiting the Huadong Valley an alternative style and type of activities.
