Mingli Paragliding Launch Site Introduction
Mingli Paragliding Takeoff Site is located two kilometers up from Mingli Village, at an altitude of approximately 800 meters. The local area offers a broad view and an extensive flying domain, extending east to Hualien River, south to Guangfu, and north to the Fenglin area. Notably, the wind in this area is strong and stable, with consistent airflow; once launched, pilots are immediately lifted to the top of the clouds. Additionally, there is a ready training site below, which is a feature lacking in other high-altitude sites. A beginner can practice takeoff techniques in the recreational area, and once proficient, can easily fly with an instructor at the Mingli Mountain high platform, enjoying the exhilaration of soaring like a falcon above the clouds.
