Mingli Paragliding Takeoff Site Introduction
Mingli Paragliding Takeoff Area is located two kilometers above Mingli Village, at an altitude of approximately 800 meters. The local views are expansive, and the flying area is very broad, extending east to Hualien River, south to Guangfu, and north to Fenglin area. Notably, the local wind is strong and stable, with consistent airflow that immediately lifts pilots to the cloud tops upon takeoff. Additionally, there is an existing training ground below, which is a feature lacking at other high-altitude sites. A beginner can experience slope learning in the recreation area, and once proficient, can fly with an instructor from Mingli Mountain’s high platform, enjoying the thrill of soaring through the clouds like an eagle.
