Ming Li Paragliding Launch Site Introduction
Mingli Paragliding Take-off Site is located two kilometers up from Mingli Village, at an altitude of approximately 800 meters. The local views are expansive, providing a very broad flying area that extends east to Hualien River, south to Guangfu, and north to Fenglin. Notably, the local wind conditions are strong and stable, with consistent airflow that immediately lifts flyers to the top of the clouds upon takeoff. Additionally, there is a ready-made training ground below, which is a feature lacking in other high-altitude launch sites. A beginner can practice takeoff techniques in the recreational area, and once proficient, can easily fly with an instructor at Mingli Mountain and enjoy the thrill of soaring through the clouds like an eagle.
