Mingli Paragliding Launch Site Introduction
Mingli Paragliding Launch Site is located two kilometers uphill from Mingli Village, at an altitude of about 800 meters. The area features a wide view and a vast flying domain, extending east to the Hualien River, south to Guangfu, and north to the Fenglin area. Notably, the local wind is strong and steady with stable airflow. Upon takeoff, one is immediately lifted to the cloud's peak by the air currents. Additionally, there is a ready-made training ground below, which is lacking in other high-altitude sites. A beginner can learn the tips for takeoff in the recreational area, and once proficient, can fly nearby at Mingli Mountain with an instructor, enjoying the thrill of soaring above the clouds like eagles.
