Chrysanthemum Garden Park (Penghu Recreational Park) Introduction
Located in Magong City, Penghu County, at the Juyuan, Dongwei Forest Area, and Tianren Lake, the "Penghu Recreational Park" covers a vast area of 140 hectares. Divided by County Road 204 into northern and southern parts, it extends from the Dongwei Forest Area in the north to the Hsingren Reservoir in the south, including Juyuan, Lian Pond, He Pond, an outdoor classroom for soil and water conservation, Tianren Lake, Shuanglong Pond, Shuanghu Garden, Caiyuan Wetland, Caiyuan Nursery, and the Banyan Garden Wooden Path. The park features a family-friendly lawn activity area and public restroom facilities, providing visitors with improved venues for activities and basic service facilities. It is a large park developed with comprehensive and thematic planning, integrating ecological conservation and tourism leisure functions. The park is abundant with trees and greenery, featuring species such as cherry blossoms, cacti, and lemon trees, and is currently divided into five areas: forest conservation area, water source conservation area, outdoor classroom for soil and water conservation, vegetable nursery, and flower sea landscape area. In recent years, in cooperation with springtime, the Agricultural and Fisheries Bureau of Penghu County has introduced a colorful spring flower sea landscape with cosmos and lavender in the park, offering a vibrant experience. With the beautiful scenery around Dongwei Trail, Tianren Lake, and the Banyan Garden, the charming spring scenery brings a refreshing atmosphere to Penghu.
