Chrysanthemum Garden Recreational Park (Penghu Recreational Park) Introduction
Located in Magong City, Penghu County, the "Penghu Recreation Park" spans an impressive area of 140 hectares, encompassing areas such as Juyuan, Dongwei Forest, and Tianren Lake. Divided into northern and southern sections by County Road 204, it stretches from Dongwei Forest in the north to Xingren Reservoir in the south, including attractions like Juyuan, Lotus Pond, Water Lily Pond, the Soil and Water Conservation Outdoor Classroom, Tianren Lake, Shuanglong Pond, Shuanghu Garden, Caiyuan Wetland, Caiyuan Nursery, and the Banyan Garden Boardwalk. The park also features a parent-child activity area and public restroom facilities, providing visitors with improved activity spaces and basic amenities. It is a large park that is designed and developed with an integrated and thematic planning approach, combining ecological conservation and recreational tourism. The park is lush with trees and greenery, and includes plantings of cherry blossoms, cacti, lemons, and other species, divided into five areas: forest conservation area, water source conservation area, soil and water conservation outdoor classroom, Caiyuan nursery, and flower sea landscape area. In recent years, the Penghu County Government's Agriculture and Fisheries Bureau has launched a spring flower sea display featuring cosmos and lavender, creating a vibrant and colorful experience for visitors. Coupled with the beautiful scenery of Dongwei Trail, Tianren Lake, and Banyan Garden within the park, it brings a unique spring atmosphere to Penghu.
