Juyuan Leisure Park (Penghu Leisure Park) Introduction
Located in Magong City, Penghu County, areas such as Juyuan, Dongwei Forest Area, and Tianren Lake make up the "Penghu Recreation Park," which covers a total area of 140 hectares. Divided by County Road 204 into northern and southern sides, it extends north to the Dongwei Forest Area and south to Xingren Reservoir, encompassing Juyuan, Lotus Pond, Lotus Pool, Soil and Water Conservation Outdoor Classroom, Tianren Lake, Shuanglong Pond, Shuanghu Garden, Caiyuan Wetland, Caiyuan Nursery, and Rongyuan Wooden Boardwalk. The park also features a family lawn activity area and restroom facilities, providing visitors with better recreational and basic service facilities. The park is designed with a holistic and thematic approach, creating a large multifunctional area that integrates ecological conservation, tourism, and recreation. The park is lush with trees and greenery, with species such as cherry blossoms, cacti, and lemons planted throughout. It is currently divided into five areas: Forest Conservation Area, Water Source Conservation Area, Soil and Water Conservation Outdoor Classroom, Caiyuan Nursery, and Flower Sea Scenic Area. In recent years, the Penghu County Government's Agricultural and Fisheries Bureau has introduced a spring flower sea featuring Persian daisies and lavender in the park, creating a colorful spectacle. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful spring scenery alongside the park’s Dongwei Trail, Tianren Lake, and Rongyuan area, bringing a fresh spring atmosphere to Penghu.
