Anliang Temple Introduction
Main Deity: Wang Ye of Li Mansion Festival Date: May 7th of the lunar calendar Founded in the 51st year of the Kangxi era, the Longmen Anyang Temple, originally a vacant lot, was established after the ancestors repeatedly witnessed brilliant fireballs in the southwest, which contained three divine figures: Wang Ye of Li Mansion (Annamese), Wang Ye of Wu Mansion (from Anhui), and Wang Ye of Hei Mansion (from Jiangxi). In addition, from the 39th year of the Republic of China onwards, the Anyang Temple has repeatedly invited Yang, Zhu, and Zhang Sanfu Qiansui, whose long-term residence has contributed to stories of their extraordinary divine power. During the outbreak of the 823 Artillery Battle, while other villages in Penghu suffered heavy casualties, all the combatants from Longmen returned home safely, adding to the temple's air of mystery and legend.
