Hou Wan Beach Introduction
Located on the eastern coast of the Huxi Township in Penghu, in the prairie area between Longmen and Guoye villages, the Houwan Beach is a hidden spot that sees few visitors, making it mostly empty and tranquil. Recently, public facilities have been constructed here, including a restroom and changing room designed in the shape of a tank, with a parking lot and wooden gazebo planned nearby. The tank's tracks have been designed as washing areas, and you can walk up from the cannon to enjoy stunning views. This beautiful secret location, with its tank guarding it, brings a bit of fun to the serene beach. As this area has not been developed, it retains a more natural and primitive appearance; the shallow sea area consists of coral fragments and shell sand, forming a bay-like stretch of beach. Due to tidal and northeast monsoon factors, some trash and driftwood may wash ashore, which occasionally leads to local groups organizing beach cleanup activities. At Houwan Beach, with few people around, you might occasionally see locals enjoying the water in small groups during the day or at dusk. When you arrive here, take your time to relax and enjoy the vast, pristine beach by yourself. 【Recommended stay time】 0.5 hours.
