Aimen Beach (including Lintou Beach) Introduction
Aimen boasts the longest golden sand beach in Penghu, composed of coral and shell debris, as well as foraminifera remains. Among these, the star-shaped foraminifera is particularly stunning. The white coral fragments on the beach paired with the blue sea and sky resemble a white ribbon encircling the beach on the southern side of Huxi Township, creating a spectacular sight. In the past, Aimen beach was marred by illegal sand mining, leaving it as exposed rock. However, local elder Li Tianyu and community volunteers used sand barriers to protect the beach, restoring Aimen beach to its former glory. It is now a highly popular romantic beach in Penghu, known for its calm waters that are suitable for wading. The area features wooden pavilions for shade from the sun and rain and has water stations for visitors to rinse off. Aimen beach is connected to Lintou beach, stretching several kilometers in length. Due to the beautiful width and length of the beach, elements such as sand, shells, love, tides, and music inspired the creation of a shell church on Lintou beach, shaped like a heart shell. The pure white and stunning shell design resembles a love horn, with streamlined stripes symbolizing rhythm, akin to the church playing wedding music. The heart-shaped hollow design on the roof, combined with the arrangement of lucky four-leaf clovers, creates varying sun projection scenes as time passes, exuding a romantic atmosphere and becoming a new highlight in Penghu. 【Recommended stay duration】1 hour.
