Aimen Beach (including Lintou Beach) Introduction
Aimen has the longest golden sandy beach in Penghu, composed of coral, shell fragments, and foraminifera remains, among which the star-shaped foraminifera are particularly stunning. The white coral fragments on the beach, paired with the blue sea and sky, resemble a white brocade ribbon surrounding the southern beach of Lakeside Township, creating a magnificent sight. In the past, Aimen Beach was transformed into bare rock due to illegal sand mining. Local elder Li Tianyu and enthusiastic community members protected the beach with sediment nets, restoring Aimen Beach to its former glory. It has now become a popular romantic beach in Penghu, where the waters are relatively calm, suitable for water play, and wooden pavilions are provided for shade and shelter from the rain, along with a water fountain for visitors to rinse off. Aimen Beach is connected to LinTou Beach, stretching several kilometers long with beautiful wide sandy areas. Thus, a shell chapel shaped like a heart shell was built at LinTou Beach, inspired by elements of beach, shells, love, tides, and music. The pure white and beautiful shell design resembles a love horn, with streamlined stripes symbolizing a sense of rhythm, as if the church plays wedding music. The heart-shaped cutout on the roof and the arrangement of lucky four-leaf clovers create different projections of sunlight over time, radiating a romantic atmosphere and becoming a new highlight in Penghu. 【Recommended stay duration】 1 hour.
