Aimen Beach (including Lintou Beach) Introduction
Aimen boasts the longest golden sandy beach in Penghu, composed of coral and shell fragments, as well as foraminifera remains, with the star-shaped foraminifera being particularly stunning. The beach's white coral fragments against the backdrop of the blue sea and sky resemble a white ribbon surrounding the southern coastline of Huxi Township, making it quite spectacular. In the past, Aimen Beach was stripped of its sand and turned into bare rocks due to illegal sand mining. Local elder Li Tianyu and community volunteers protected the beach with sand-blocking nets, restoring Aimen Beach to its former glory. It has now become a popular romantic beach in Penghu, featuring calm waters suitable for swimming, wooden pavilions for shade and shelter, and water taps for simple rinsing. Aimen Beach is connected to Lintou Beach, extending several kilometers. Its wide and beautiful sandy expanse inspired the creation of a shell chapel at Lintou Beach, shaped like a heart-shaped shell, with a stunning pure white design that resembles a love horn. The streamlined patterns of the shell symbolize musical rhythm, as if the chapel is playing wedding music. The heart-shaped hollow design on the roof, combined with the arrangement resembling a lucky four-leaf clover, casts different shadows over time, creating a romantic atmosphere and becoming a new highlight of Penghu. 【Suggested Duration】1 hour
