Aimen Beach Introduction
Aimen Beach is made up of coral and shell fragments, as well as foraminifera remains, with the star-shaped foraminifera being the most stunning for visitors. Originally an unremarkable site, Aimen Beach began to gain attention starting from 1998, when the village chief of Aimen and his son initiated a community beach renovation project, installing sand fences and other facilities to intercept wind-blown sand from the northeast monsoon, which gradually formed the beach. Their efforts eventually caught the attention of the county government and the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration, which allocated funds for the renovation of Aimen Beach, transforming it into a beautiful beach favored by tourists. During the summer, Aimen Beach becomes a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts. The longest golden shell beach in Penghu, connected to Lintou Park Beach and leading directly to Longmen Harbor, is a filming location for the TV series "Love in the Golden Island." In "Love in the Golden Island," the female lead throws a message in a bottle filled with her thoughts into the sea from a boat heading to Penghu. Ten years later, the bottle is brought back to Jimadaisha (Penghu) by a boy from Japan, leading to a romantic story. You can visit this stretch of beach to search for your message in a bottle or to anticipate unexpected discoveries.
