Shell Church Introduction
The concept of "Love in Penghu Bay" is shaped by elements such as beaches, shells, love, tides, and music. A shell chapel, resembling a heart shell, has been created at Lin tou Beach. The chapel's exterior resembles a love horn, with the natural patterns of the shell representing the melody being played, as if wedding music is being played inside. The heart-shaped hollow design on the roof, paired with the arrangement of a lucky four-leaf clover, produces different sunlight projections over time, filling the space with a sense of happiness. Couples are invited to stroll along the beach bathed in the glow of the sunset and create everlasting memories at this chapel, allowing the shell chapel to weave more romantic love stories for Penghu. In the same location, several small shell seating installations have been added as art pieces, crafted from unique marine ecological elements of Penghu, including ship octopus shells, giant clams, and heart shells, providing a deeper experience of Penghu's marine culture and enhancing the romantic charm of the site. 【Recommended duration of stay】 0.5 hours
