Shell Church Introduction
Shaped by the imagery of "Romance at Penghu Bay," this creative concept incorporates elements such as beaches, shells, love, sea tides, and melodies, culminating in the construction of a shell chapel on Lin Tou Beach, designed in the shape of a heart shell. The exterior of the chapel resembles a horn of love, and the natural textures of the shell represent the broadcast of melodies, as if the chapel is playing wedding music. The heart-shaped openwork design on the roof, combined with the arrangement of four-leaf clovers, creates different patterns of sunlight projection over time, filling the space with a sense of happiness. It is hoped that lovers can not only stroll along the beach during the sunset glow but also create everlasting memories in this chapel, allowing the shell chapel to compose more romantic love stories in Penghu. Several small shell seating installations have been added at the same location, featuring unique marine ecological elements of Penghu, designed as installations representing ship octopus shells, giant clam shells, and heart shells, offering a deeper experience of Penghu's marine culture and enhancing the romantic charm of the site. 【Recommended Stay Time】 0.5 hours
