Shell Church Introduction
To shape the image of "Lovers at Penghu Bay," elements such as beaches, shells, love, tides, and melodies are incorporated, resulting in the creation of a shell church shaped like a heart shell on Lin Tou Beach. The exterior of the shell church resembles a horn of love, and the natural texture of the shell represents the broadcasting of melodies, as if the church is playing wedding music. The heart-shaped hollow design on the roof, combined with the arrangement of a lucky four-leaf clover, creates various sunlight casting effects over time, filling the atmosphere with happiness. It is hoped that lovers can not only stroll along the beach bathed in the sunset glow but also leave eternal memories in this church, allowing the shell church to compose more romantic love stories for Penghu. Several small shell seating installations have been added at the same location, featuring unique marine resource ecological elements from Penghu, including ship octopus shells, giant clams, and heart shells, enabling a deeper experience of Penghu’s maritime culture and making the site even more romantic and enchanting. 【Recommended stay time】 0.5 hours
