Shell Chapel Introduction
To shape the image of "Love at Penghu Bay," elements such as beaches, shells, love, tides, and melodies were creatively combined to construct a shell chapel in the shape of a heart shell on Lin Tou Beach. The chapel's exterior resembles a love horn, and the natural textures of the shell represent the broadcasting of melodies, similar to the wedding music being played in the chapel. The heart-shaped hollow design on the roof, combined with the arrangement of lucky four-leaf clovers, casts different sunlight projections over time, filling the space with a sense of happiness. It is hoped that couples can not only stroll along the beach bathed in the glow of the sunset but also leave eternal memories at this chapel, allowing the shell chapel to compose more romantic love stories for Penghu. A few small shell seat installations have also been added at the same location, featuring marine resource ecological elements unique to Penghu. These installations include the boat octopus shell, the Tridacna shell, and the heart shell, enabling visitors to gain a deeper understanding of Penghu's maritime culture and making the site even more romantic and enchanting. 【Recommended stay time】 0.5 hours.
