Penghu County Cultural Park Introduction
Penghu Cultural Park is one of the areas under the jurisdiction of the Penghu County Cultural Affairs Department and is the largest cultural recreational space in Penghu. In recent years, the Penghu County Cultural Affairs Department has planned a complete cultural park centering on the plaza and vacant spaces outside the performing arts hall, integrating the nearby Er Dai Art Museum and the Penghu Science Museum. After a renovation, the entire area has been revamped to provide local residents with a good place for leisure on weekends or after work, while also increasing many public service facilities. The park includes office facilities, exhibition spaces, outdoor performances, as well as exhibition halls, a science museum, and a performing arts hall, thereby bringing the public closer to the cultural park. The cultural park is the best place for students’ dates, couples’ outings, family fun, or seniors’ exercise and dancing. Inside the park, there are diverse cultural areas, including an arts corridor, the Cheng Xing Gallery, outdoor art performances, a children’s playground, a cultural plaza, a water dance area, and a sculpture park. The park regularly offers outdoor performances and cultural activities, and there are also tree-shaded walking areas and nighttime lighting. [Suggested visit time] 2 hours.
