In the 23rd year of the Kangxi reign, the Wusheng Temple was initially built to the right of the Penghu Military Parade Hall, and in the first year of the Guangxu reign (1875), it was relocated to its current site. The worship of Guan Yu in Taiwan originated with Koxinga, and the Guandi Temple in Tainan today was built by Koxinga. The largest Guandi Temple in Penghu is the current Wusheng Temple in Chaoyang Village.

Main Deity: Guandi Festival Date: June 24th of the lunar calendar Originally built in the 23rd year of the Kangxi era, the Wusheng Temple was located to the right of the Penghu School Stage and was moved to its current site in the spring of 1875 (the first year of the Guangxu era). The worship of Guandi in Taiwan dates back to Koxinga, and today the Guandi Temple in Tainan is built by Koxinga. The largest Guandi Temple in Penghu is the current Wusheng Temple in Chaoyang Village.
