The Wusheng Temple was initially built in the 23rd year of the Kangxi reign, to the right of the Penghu School Performance Hall. In the first year of the Guangxu reign (1875), it was moved to its current location. The worship of Guan Gong in Taiwan originated from Zheng Chenggong, and the current Kuan Ti Temple in Tainan was constructed by him. The largest Kuan Ti Temple in Penghu is now the Wusheng Temple in Chaoyang Village.

Main deity worshipped: Guan Sheng Di Jun Festival date: June 24th of the lunar calendar The Wusheng Temple was first built in the 23rd year of the Kangxi era, to the right of the Penghu Duxing Hall, and was moved to its current location in the spring of the first year of the Guangxu era (1875). The worship of Guan Gong in Taiwan originally began with Zheng Chenggong; the Guan Temple in Tainan today is built by Zheng Chenggong, and the largest Guan Temple in Penghu is the current Wusheng Temple in Chaoyang.
