The Wusheng Temple was originally built in the 23rd year of the Kangxi era (1684) to the right of the Penghu Parade Square, and was relocated to its current site in the 1st year of the Guangxu era (1875). The worship of Guan Gong in Taiwan first originated from Zheng Chenggong, and the current Guandi Temple in Tainan was constructed by Zheng Chenggong. The largest Guandi Temple in Penghu is now the Wusheng Temple in Chaoyang Village.

Main Deity: Guan Sheng Emperor Festival Date: Lunar June 24 The Wu Sheng Temple was first established in the 23rd year of the Kangxi Emperor (1684) to the right of the Penghu School Fair Hall and was relocated to its current site in the spring of the first year of the Guangxu Emperor (1875). The worship of Guan Gong in Taiwan originated with Zheng Chenggong, and the Guan Di Temple in Tainan was built by him. The largest Guan Di Temple in Penghu is the current Wu Sheng Temple in Chaoyang Village.
